Spring Has Sprung
Ah, the joys of spring! With the warmer weather, now is the perfect opportunity to get out of the house, and have some fun. Here are a few ideas for some springtime activities to spice up your day:
1.) Take a walk. This may sound cliche, but you’d be surprised at how fun and invigorating a walk can be. Change it up a bit by going with a friend and taking a new route.
2.) Invite friends and family over for a cook out. Fire up the grill and challenge everyone to see who can come up with the most flavorful dish. Or perhaps the sweetest cake. Whatever your fancy, this is sure to lead to some good food and a great time with others!
3.) Try a new game. Throw a Frisbee, or form a game of tag. This one is good if you’re surrounded by a lot of kids, and want to burn off some of their energy.
4.) Build a campfire and have a rustic super. There is something nice about cooking food over a fire. It has a unique and appetizing appeal that can’t quite be matched. Don’t forget the s’mores!
5.) Behold the wonders of God’s creation. The flowers in bloom, birds chirping, and gentle breeze are all part of a greater gift that God has given to us. So take a step back, gaze upon them, and talk to God. He delights when we enjoy these things, and is happy to be a part of your life.
Design for our new series, InFocus, is coming along well. The students from our Media Missionary Program have finished most of the set construction. Within the next two months, we plan to begin filming this 26 episode series.
Better Living will be at the next annual ASI convention in Grand Rapids Michigan from August 6th-9th. If you are planning to attend, be sure to stop by and and say hi to the team from our newly launched Media Missionary Program!
Connecting with God
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” – Hebrews 11:6
