What’s new…Better Living Multimedia Center…We have completed the construction of our new multimedia center and we are now almost finished installing all the audio-visual equipment. Shortly we will begin producing a DVD on the reliability of the Bible which will be the first of its kind released in French. In addition we are improving our French websitewww.mieuxvivre.org.
Our team is growing…We are happy to inform you that Steeven Gouin has recently joined our team. His expertise in the area of construction and sound engineering are greatly appreciated.
In addition, Roland Scalliet our Studio Manager has been hard at work since his arrival at Better Living after completing an internship in video production in Sweden. The Better Living team would like to congratulate him for having received the Student of the Year Award from the Society of Adventist Communicators.
Radio…The statistics for our website (www.mieuxvivre.org) are very encouraging. Not only is our radio program Mieux Vivre with host Patrick Dupuis and his collaborators Dr. Marianne Lemay and Pastor Paul Scalliet broadcast in Québec and in France, the radio program is also downloaded from our website in more than 40 countries around the world.
Quotes that inspire…Keep your wants, your joys, your sorrows, your cares, and your fears before God. You cannot burden Him; you cannot weary Him. He who numbers the hairs of your head is not indifferent to the wants of His children. “The Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy”. His heart of love is touched by our sorrows and even by our utterances of them. Take to Him everything that perplexes the mind. Nothing is too great for Him to bear, for He holds up worlds, He rules over all the affairs of the universe. Nothing that in any way concerns our peace is too small for Him to notice. There is no chapter in our experience too dark for Him to read; there is no perplexity too difficult for Him to unravel. Steps to Christ p. 100
Health Tip…Walking helps prevent heart disease. A recent study published in the New England Journal of Medicine established that people, who walk three or more hours per week, decrease their risk of developing heart disease by 30% to 40%. If you do the math, that’s 30 minutes six days a week or one hour of walking three times a week. How about going for a healthy walk?
How can you help Better Living?…We need your prayers because our projects are ambitious. You can also invite your French-speaking friends and acquaintances to visit us online at www.mieuxvivre.org. We also invite you to consider supporting one or more of our projects financially as we share the love of God with all the French-speaking people of the world.
