I would like to share some exciting develops in the next phase of Better Living Ministry. When we started our media ministry in 2009 we had no idea how challenging it would be to pioneer this work. Part of the challenge is due to the fact that our ministry reaches out to French-speaking people and that there are very few French-speaking Seventh-day Adventists in Canada. Another reality is that most English-speaking people don’t have a clear picture of how great the need is among French-speaking people. I have had such a burden to see this work grow and I believe God has given us a vision of how growth can become a reality.
We have decided to launch a media missionary training program on January 13, 2014. We have clearly felt that this is the best way to be able to share the knowledge with others that we have gained since starting our media ministry. At the same time, the students will help us reach our goal of increasing the amount of television and radio programs we can produce.
Much of my time for the last few months has been spent in developing the new media training programming and in recruiting students. We are delighted to have 6 students who will arrive shortly. The training program will make it necessary for us to move to another facility where we will have a larger, better-equipped studio.
This is the biggest step in faith we have taken since Better Living started in 2009.
