1. The Harvest is Plenty, but the Workers Are Few

Better Living Ministry’s Media Missionary Training Program is now underway! We are pleased to have four missionaries, two from Sweden and two from the United States. The program had a fairly smooth launch, although one of our students, James Ringstaff, had trouble getting into Canada from the U.S.  He writes:
So last week, I attempted to drive into Ontario. For those of you who missed that day in geography, Ontario is the second largest province in Canada and holds about 40% of Canada’s population. After crossing over the border, I was asked to pull into a secondary building for further inspection. After an hour of waiting, unsure of what was going to happen next, I was finally called to the desk. It felt like judgment day. Unfortunately, the border officers felt like the information about my internship was not sufficient. I was promptly returned to the states, and warned not to come back without the paperwork. An hour later, after researching with Wayne while at a local library and not certain of what my next steps should be, I decided that I would go forth and try to cross again…”JamesRingstaff

Fortunately, James was persistent and determined to come to Québec. On his third try, after hours of driving and gathering the necessary paperwork, James succeeded in arriving for the program. This goes to show that with determination, prayer, and faith in God; nothing is impossible.

    Connecting with God

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.” ~ Matthew 21:21

    Water of Life

We all know that water is good for you. Approximately 70% of our bodies mass is made of water. However, sometimes we don’t drink as much as we probably need. Here are some reasons why you should drink plenty of it!

    1. Water boosts the immune system – Drinking plenty of water can help fight against the flu, fevers and cancer.
    2. Improves Skin Complexion – Moisturizes your skin, keeping it nice and soft.
    3. Promotes Weight Loss – Drinking lots of water can reduce your food intake and raise your metabolism.

    Opportunity to Serve
Are you interested in the mission field and have a passion for media? If so, then we have a great opportunity for you! Recently, Better Living Ministry began their Media Missionary Training Program. We are looking for spiritually minded young people who would be interested in learning media skills and apply those skills towards reaching the French speaking population for Christ.
