Happy New Year!

Bonjour à tous! 2014 is finally upon us, and for many people that means new resolutions and goals. The New Year is a good time to change habits, grow stronger bonds, and draw closer to Christ. To help you kick start the year on the right foot, here are some simple ideas.

  1. Keep your goals simple and easy to maintain. For example, if you are wanting to lose 10 pounds, set the goal over a definite time period rather than saying “I want to lose x amount of pounds a week.” Instead, say to yourself “I want to lose 10 pounds in 5 months.” By setting a time frame instead of trying to micromanage your goal week by week, it will be easier to follow and less stressful.
  2. Take a deep breath and enjoy the simple things in life. Too often we are so focused on getting from one appointment to another that we miss out on the small details of our day to day activities. So step back, and “smell the roses!”
  3. Talk to God. This one is probably the most important. God loves you like a father, and He enjoys hearing about your life. How your day went, your concerns, and your dreams. So talk with him, and let Him know what’s going on.

New Location

Beginning this month, Better Living Ministry has moved into a larger facility. This “new” building will help us to prepare for our upcoming Media Missionary Training Program which begins January 13th. The new facility features a larger main office space, an editing room for the students, and a large area for multiple sets. This studio has about 5x the space of our previous studio. We are excited to see what God has in store for the ministry as things come together. Pictured to the right you can see our new location. Having this extra space will help significantly with the number of students who will be able to participate in our training program. .

Patrik2Special Feature: Patrik Hanning

We are pleased to announce that Patrik Hanning, from Sweden, will be working with Better Living Ministry in our Media Missionary Training Program. Patrik brings with him 5 years of experience working with media, specifically television broadcasting environment. His knowledge will be a great benefit and blessing to our students.

Connecting with Christ
“For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” ~ Matthew 6: 14-15
May God truly bless you in the New Year.
