Preparation Time
‘’So His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found it just as He had said to them; and they prepared the Passover.’’ Mark 14.16
Before his last Passover supper on earth Jesus gave instructions to his disciples to go prepare the upper room for their last meal together prior to his death and resurrection. The disciples got busy, it was preparation time.
July was preparation time for Better Living.
The final touches were done on the studio set: the furniture was laid out, decorations and accessories were added, lighting was put up, the was wiring done
thus the Convictions Series could start production soon.
July was truly preparation month for us and accordingly we had to prepare for the August ASI Convention also. Most team members were involved with some of the design and planning for the convention guide and other aspects of the convention itself. Staff and students got busy using their talents and time for the ministry. We thank God for His mighty hand and His outstretched arm that strengthened us during this hectic time.
God expects his people to stay busy and occupy to prepare his return. If we are children of God we are consequently the Elijahs of the last days and we have a preparation work to do. May the spirit and power of Elijah dwell in you and I, so we may live in such a way ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” (Mal 4.5,6; Luke 1.17) It is preparation time, Amen.
