What a blessing to be able to come to our Lord to share our joy, our sorrows, our fears. Prayer is certainly one of the greatest gifts ever given to mankind. But sometimes it seems like we don’t really grasp its importance. The God of the universe is always ready to take time to be with us, to listen to us.
At Better Living Ministry, every day, we discover and rediscover the incredible power of prayer. God keeps surprising us! In small details or big decisions, God is at work!
Ellen White writes: “Prayer and faith will do what no power on earth can accomplish” (Help in Daily Living 56.2). So we have decided to put prayer to the test! A lost file, a technical problem, a difficult task, an episode to release, a doubt or a joy – we have decided to share it all with our Heavenly Father. Charles Spurgeon said: “Anything is a blessing which makes us pray”. This might help us to look at our problems from another perspective… He adds: “We know not what prayer cannot do!”
Is it now time for us to discover the miracle of prayer? We encourage you to discover for yourself the difference prayer can make in your own life. We are counting on your prayers. You are also in ours.
Here is a list of things you could pray for:
- Conviction: Conviction is a series for young people. New episodes are posted every week on our website and on our Youtube Channel. We pray that each episode will touch young people and help them to stand firm in their convictions.
- Media Missionary Training program: The training starts in September. We pray for the students, we pray that this training will equip them to share the gospel through media, and we pray that their time at Better Living will be a blessing to them as well as to the ministry.
- Studio: Better Living is looking for a building for a new studio for our upcoming productions.
