All things new…

“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. Isaiah 65:17

What a beautiful promise from our God. The earth is going to be new. There is something exciting about newness. We are excited when we get a new car, a new phone or a new house. We are happy to read a new book or to visit a new city. But when we get used to our new device or our new home, we realize that it resembles to somethings else that we’ve seen or experienced before: “Oh i had that feature on my old phone” or “the seats of this car look like the previous model”. We start comparing the new element to something that already exists.  The text says that the former shall not be remembered nor come to mind… We won’t actually be able to compare the new Jerusalem to anything because the glorious earth will be the result of the creative power of God. This experience will be special and unique. This time, newness won’t be an improvement. It will be things that the eye has not seen nor the ear heard, nor have entered the heart of man.It will be… new

houseBy God’s grace, Better living found a property that could welcome the ministry (studio, office, housing for the missionaries). Plus, it’s close to the local church. We still have to visit and meet the owners. If everything looks good, it seems like Better Living will have a new address! Continue to pray for us.

“Back in September of this year (2014), I had the privilege of going to Canada to do some filming with Mieux Vivre Ministry , for a series they were working on known as “Conviction.” This was my first time actually going to Canada, and I had no idea what to expect other than moose walking around, and I didn’t even see one! All I knew was that the area was French speaking and all I could say was Bonjour and Merci. I was nervous and excited all at the same time, but I felt secure in the fact that it was God’s will for me to go. So after 14 hours of a bus ride, I finally saw a familiar face. It was one of  the students there by the name of Frida and she greeted me with a great big smile! This alone showed me that I was going to have a great experience with Mieux Vivre, and after staying with them for 2 1/2 weeks i can honestly say that it truly was a great experience in deed! When i finally got to the ministry everyone there greeted me with a great big hug and made me feel at home!I quickly felt comfortable around the many workers there, and knew that I could be my self, even if it meant completely embarrassing myself trying to pronounce those french words! Anyways, besides their amazing hospitality the atmosphere was amazing there to. They had worship every morning, making sure to give a reminder to why they do what they do. One thing that was read from inspiration, was that the angels take note of everything that takes place in the publishing ministry, and I knew that the angels were happy with what they saw happening here. When i wasn’t in front of the camera i was behind the camera or even in the editing room, learning even more how important the publishing work is and how certain angles and even movements bring certain messages across to the audience viewing. It’s a lot of work, but with the love they have for what they do, and who they’re doing it for, it makes it seem like they’re having a great time all the time! Mieux Vivre taught me alot and really helped me to strengthen my relationship with Christ. I would love to return to visit them and even take the course they have, but of course all in God’s timing”.
