Where?
By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. Hebrews 11:8.
Abraham left his family and friends to go where God would show him. God did not give him any explanations. God did not try to persuade him. Interestingly enough, Abraham in front of the lack of evidence to encourage him to accept the offer, did not question God about His call nor his new home. Abraham obeyed and went out, not knowing where he was going. It must have been weird for Abraham to tell to his family and friends: I don’t know where I’m going…God told me to go… I go… Ellen White, in the book Patriarchs and Prophets, talks about Abraham’s spontaneous response in these words: “God has spoken, and His servant must obey; the happiest place on earth for him (talking about Abraham) was the place where God would have him to be.” Patriarchs and prophets p. 126
We, at better living, are going through a similar experience, we know that we must go St-Georges, but we haven’t found a specific location for the ministry. As we are searching for properties and praying, Abraham’s experience has taught us that where God wants us to be is the place where we should be. We know that God has thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give us a future and a hope. Please continue to pray for us. Conviction : By God’s grace we were able to film 22 shows in english and 6 in french. We still have 4 more shows to film in english and 20 to film in french. Please keep this project in your prayers. We would like to thank three volunteers: Jennifer, Richard and Andrew who were willing to come from Toronto to St-Christophe to record !
